Coca Cola Company is an international company with its headquarters in the United Sates of America. Coca Cola is a beverage producing industry that provides hundreds of brands that include soft drinks, juices, and sport drinks among others. This company is best known for its manufacture and supply of the Coca Cola drink that was formally invented by John Smith in the year 1886. In its marketing and distributing strategies, this company produces more that 500 brands that are sold to more than 140 countries internationally through its distribution channels. As a result of these sales, the Coca Cola Company is in a position to generate 1.6 billion savings on daily basis. The Coca Cola Company operates a franchised distribution system that was introduced in 1889. In this case, it has many branches throughout the world where it is able to reach as many customers as possible. The headquarters of this company are located in Atlanta in the state of Georgia. Most of the drinks produced and supplied by this company are packaged in bottles either plastic or glass (Zurkuhlen & Meeker, 1987).

When looking at the history of the Coca Cola Company, it was founded in 1892 by Pemberton Medicine Company. Coca Cola has developed as a growing company in terms of sales that has resulted to the increased popularity and consumption of its products. It is only in Middle East where coca Cola is not the first ranked company in terms of production of soft and sport drinks in the whole world. In this case, this mission functions as a measure against which the company weighs their actions and decisions. This mission is stated as ‘to refresh the world in body, mind and spirit.' Additionally, this company is delighted in inspiring moments of optimism through their brands and their actions. Through the use of its mission statement, this company has created value and hence made a difference whenever and wherever it is engaged. The popularity of the Coca Cola Company has resulted from the statement of its mission as it has indicated that it is dedicated to the wellbeing of the society through refreshing people by the use of their well manufactured drinks (Pearce & Robinson, 1997).

Through the company's product strategy, there has been improvement in the sales that have been experienced in the recent past. The products' marketing strategies in this company have yielded a very positive value in terms of profits accrued. It is the strategy used by this company to produce both cold and warm drinks that are compatible to customers at any time of the day. Additionally, the products that are produced are of high quality in order to compete with others in the global market. It is the production strategy of this company to produce a wide range of products so that all people of all statuses, countries, regions, and age could consume them. Basically, the Coca Cola Company has branches in more than 200 countries in the whole world which help in distributing the manufactured products. Additionally, within these countries there are manufacturing plants and hence easing the process of distribution (Zurkuhlen & Meeker, 1987).

The Coca Cola Company pricing strategies are among the best in the whole world. This is because it a competition based price strategy that has enabled it to stiffly compete with other beverage producing companies of the world. Since the products produced are of different sizes, they prices are different according to the quantity (Pride & Ferrell, 2008).

As indicated earlier, the Coca Cola Company has been able to acquire a favorable global business environment. In this case, it has been able to be the first beverage producing and supplying company world wide in exception of Middle East where it is ranked second. As a result of this, this company is getting a lot of profits from the sale of beverages. Despite the fact that there are cases of competition from other companies producing the same products, Coca Cola has been favored by the world business market (Pearce & Robinson, 1997).

Pepsi Company is one of the major competitors of the Coca Cola Company in the global market. Despite the fact that there are many other companies that produce beverages in the world, Coca Cola has emerged as the winner through its production of high quality and refreshing drinks. Additionally, the prices of the products produced in this company are attractive and hence increasing its competition capacity in the global market. By the virtue of operating a lot of small branches in the whole world, the Coca Cola Company has proved to be very competitive as compared to other companies like Pepsi. On the other hand, the Coca Cola Company markets its products in the whole world where it has more than 200 branches. This has helped it to reach as many customers as possible (Chang, 1997).

The coca cola company produces and supplies its products to all customers in the whole world. However, there are some products that target particular population in the society. A good example is the diet products that targets older people who are between the age of 35 and 39 years. Additionally, sport drinks target those people who do a lot of practices while the Winnie and pooh sipper mostly targets the children between the ages of 5 to 12 years (Zurkuhlen & Meeker, 1987).
